easy quesadilla recipe?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: Easy Mexican Food Recipes

i love mexican food, and im not the best cook, so are there any easy quesadilla recipes out there(:?
i like quesadillas with cheese and chicken (obviously, lol) and then onions or peppers and, well, the usual stuff.

I make the easiest quesadillas ever, and they are delicious. They literally take me about 10 minutes total. Here’s what you need:

1 Package of flour tortillas
1 Package of Perdue fully cooked chicken strips in Southwestern flavor (they are called Short Cuts)
1 Package of shredded cheese (the Mexican flavor is best)
1 8oz container of sour cream

Cut up the chicken strips, which are fully cook, into small peices. Place one of the tortillas in a frying pan on med-low, then flip it and place the chicken and cheese inside. Place another tortilla on top and and brown on both sides. Serve with the sour cream. My husband hates veggies, but I love them, so you can also put grilled veggies inside. Gooey and delicious!

What do you want to put in it? Just heat up a tortilla in a pan, throw in some cheese (I like sharp cheddar) , fold it in half, and flip it over between sides until the cheese melts. If you put anything else in it make sure it’s pre-cooked

get two tortillas and butter one side of each one. heat up a frying pan with a little bit of butter in it. put the first tortilla in the pan, butter side down, put cheese and salsa in, then put the other tortilla on, butter side up.

if you dont want just cheese, you can put anything you want on the inside, but use small chunks of whatever it is.

if you want it to be even easier, skip the frying pan and butter, and just put it in the microwave

Quesadilla is probably the easiest thing in the world to make…

Use either corn or flour tortillas (I prefer flour)
    Shredded Mexican Cheese
Put together just like a grilled cheese and cook in a frying pan on the stove using medium heat.
*Cook first side until there are golden brown spots underneath and then flip it over and repeat (usually takes about 7 minutes total)

If you want, you can add grilled chicken (comes precooked or you can grill your own chicken breast). You can also add salsa, diced tomatoes, beef, or really anything you want…

    good luck :)

a quesadilla is simply melted cheese on a tortilla. From that, maybe add some grilled meat, or onions. maybe some peppers depending on how spicy you like it – but simple diced Ortega chillies should be nice. I strongly suggest using a skillet rather than microwave as the texture of the tortillas will be MUCH better. you can go with flour or corn tortillas, depending upon what you like, but flour tortillas are generally much bigger.

That’s it… maybe top it off with a little guacamole and sour cream, or your favorite salsa.

QUesedillas are easy to make ! :)
Just dice what you want to put in them. I like to put onions and peppers. Take a couple of tortillas, spread some salsa out on one of them, then add the veggies or other things you want in them. I like to put onions, peppers, grated cheese and already cooked chicken. all you do after that is cover it with the other tortilla bread and put it in a frying pan to cook it. The cooking it part is pretty simple considering you cook it like a pancake.. once one side is cooked enough to your taste, flip it around and cook the other side !

hope this helped. I love them, enjoy :)

well graded yellow and white cheese in a tortilla isnt really mexican. Sorry for bursting your bubble.
Ummm… tortillas corn or flour that come in a clear platic bag (Brand: guerrero, or whichever you can find) with cheese RANCHERO or Queso fresco (Brand: Cacique). Well put the tortilla on a hot plate and put the cheese on the tortilla and fold and flip the quesadilla until the cheese is melted and enjoy.
Youll easily find these products at a supermarket in a mexican or hispanic community.

You can make this a lot better than just throwing it together. First brush each side of two tortillas with olive oil, then put one side in the pan for just a minute pull it out and do the same to the one side on the other. Flip this one over and add whatever ingredients you want [ I use cheese and a little salsa for some spice] at this time you can add meat and then put the already cooked side of the other on top and flip this over [the cheese will hold it together] This gives a little more crunch to the quesadilla.

    A quesadilla IS easy.

Put some butter in a skillet, add the tortilla, sprinkle on some cheese. Other fold in half or top with another buttered torilla. Either fold in half or flip.

    Steak quesadillas are very easy.

    Ingredients
    steak
    onion
    green pepper
    shredded cheese (mexican or taco)
    salt and pepper
    taco or fajita seasoning
    tortillas

    Preparation:
Dice the steak, onion and pepper.
Heat up a skillet over medium heat, add a bit of oil.
Salt and pepper the steak and cook until almost done.
Add the onions and peppers, add a little more salt and pepper along with the seasoning blend. **Only add a little seasoning and salt at a time. Taste and add more as you go.
Continue to cook until the veggies are tender.
Remove the pan from the heat.
Assemble your quesadillas in the following way.
Put one tortilla on a plate, add cheese than your steak and veggies, cover with a second tortilla.
Heat up a second pan, again with a touch of oil.
carefully place the assembled quesadilla in the pan, let cook until the underside has become lightly toasted.
Now what you’re going to do is transfer the quesadilla to a plate, cook side down. Place another plate on top and with holding the 2 plates together flip the quesadilla over. What should happen is that the cooked side will now be on top.
Put the quesadilla back in the pan and continue cooking until the other side is also lightly toasted.
remove from heat and cut into wedges with either a knife or pizza cutter.

Cheese, green peppers, onions, bacon and chicken. Cook the meat before using. Sandwich between 2 tortillas. Can be baked, browned in a skillet or use a quesadilla maker. Cut with a pizza cutter. Serve with salsa and sour cream
