Healthy picks for Mexican restaurant?

Posted by: admin  /  Category: Healthy Mexican Food

Im going out for dinner at a mexican restuant for my best friends birthday, i have been to the place before and had the salad and hated it and i rarely eat mexican food, whats the healthiest pick?

Chicken Fajitas can be good for you because of the variety of foods contained in them…but you can always ask for a to-go box and split the meal up before you even start eating it, so you’re not tempted to eat the entire thing. Everything in moderation is fine to eat…just watch out for those tortilla chips that come before the meal–those things can catch up to you pretty quickly!

Stay away from the fried chips. It is absolutely insane how high calorie they are—and you’d think they wouldn’t be that bad. Salsa is good though—the peppers in it will actually rev your metabolism. Choose something with beans or chicken—this will help you calorie content and be more filling. Avoid sour cream and cheese—-choose something with beans/chicken and veggies–like fajitas but don’t eat the wraps. Yum!

Chicken Fajitas are the way to go. Stay away from the refried beans! If they offer black beans that is a better pick.

La comida mexicana solo sabe bien en México, la he probado en otros países y es relamente mala.
    Deberías venir un día.
