Im doing a project for mi clase de espanol. I need some info on the traditional mexican quinceanera. What do they eat there? What are some foods that i can make to bring in that they eat?

How long does it last? Is it a formal party?
Thanks

Well the food doesn’t always have to be Mexican, because I have friends who are Latin Americans who served their native food. The important thing is that there is a birthday cake, that was what most of my friends told me, or else it wouldn’t be a birthday.

The party can last as long as the host wanted it to, unless they had a neighbor who complained about loud music at 2 am.

Ususally its a formal, its like attending a wedding but not boring, lots of fun!!! The brithday girl whoever do sometimes look like she is going to get married because of the gown they wear.

If you have ever heard of a "debutant ball" that’s what it is, but its being celebrated 3 years earlier.

If you are ever driving by Los Feliz, and Riverside drive here in LA there is a fountain at the corner and you’ll see these people taking pictures, some are weddings some are quinceaneras, too hard to tell
