I want to make Mexican Pizza i want to know what kind of tortilla to buy and do I fry it or is it precooked?

Flour is best. Since you are using it for a pizza, you don't have to precook it. Tortillas can be easily overcooked, that's why there's no need to precook it before putting it in the oven. It will be cooked in the oven, once you put it everything on it.

Flour works best. And the tortillas in packages are not completely cooked, so it's best to crisp them slightly in a fry pan. No oil is needed, just browning them a bit on each side will do the trick. (You'll see a few brown spots on each side, so you know they're done.)

I am going to go a different way. The mexican pizza that I am used to seeing starts with cornbread mix – while raw, spread it on a pizza plate and bake till done (about 10 minutes) then spread refried beans all over, sprinkle hot/spicy sausage (cooked), vegis of your choice (black olives, tomatoes, onions, jalapenos, bell peppers, etc, etc), salsa and then shredded cheese (I like the colby/jack mix). Pop back in oven till cheese is melted and all is hot. yummmm
