Not like crazy Mexican, Indian or really out there kinda of meals. I’ve got a picky partner, but he loves home cooked meals. As do I and I’m so tired of cooking the same 5 meals all the time.
I’d like some good ideas for chicken, meat, ham – anything like that, that includes veggies. Anything really. Crock-pot cooking is awesome too.
Thanks!

My favourites : Multigrain breaded fish fillets ( buy them in a frozen package and cook using box directions ) . And i prepare this with
crispy sweet potatoe wedges , and couscous .
For the sweet potatoes you buy 3 sweet potatoes cut them into wedges drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper , season them with a generous amount of cinamon , and some rosemary . bake in the oven for 30 seconds and they come out so crispy . Couscous , you boil your cous cous for 10 minutes , and add some sliced yellow bell pepper , some kidney beans , finely sliced mnushroom , zuchinni , and some onions . ( instead of the fish you can make a meatloaf with egg in the middle , and instead of the couscous you could boil some spinach with some onions , or some brocolli you just sprinkle with salt and olive oil over the florets in a microwavable big pan , and you put that in the microwave for 12 minutes! its good )

Delicious & Easy Crockpot Beef Roast
1 chuck or rump Beef Roast (sized for your crockpot)
½ Cup of Water
1 Packet of Ranch Dressing Mix
1 Packet of Italian Dressing Mix
1 Packet of Brown Gravy Mix
Put roast in crockpot, pour water around the base. Sprinkle all 3 dry seasoning packets over roast. Cover and cook for 6-7 hours on low. Remove roast to cutting board and let sit 15 minutes; slice thinly across the grain.
This is also good w/ a whole turkey breast, using turkey gravy mix instead of brown gravy mix.

Renee’s Sour Cream Cornbread
1 cup self-rising cornmeal
(OR ¾ cup plain cornmeal, 3 Tbsp. a/p flour, 1 Tbsp. baking powder, and ½ tsp salt)
3 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 (8.75 oz) can creamed corn (the little bitty can)
2/3 cup sour cream
Preheat oven 425ºF. Pour a little oil, probably about 2-3 Tbsp., in a 10” cast iron skillet or your 9×9” pan and heat in oven while mixing. If oil begins to smoke, take it out to cool off some. Mix all ingredients together and pour into hot pan that has the little oil in it… Bake in center of oven for about 20 min, or until middle puffs up and tester comes out clean and golden on top.
