the recipes calls for 1/2 cup red wine vinegar, but I only have rice vinegar and apple cider vinegar.?

can I use the rice vinegar or the apple cider vinegar in place of the red wine vinegar ?

This recipe is for Mexican Bean Salad

Technically you probably can, but it won't taste the same.

    Use the rice vinegar. It is a little less acidic than red wine vinegar and goes well in salads. Apple cider vinegar is much more acidic, and not as good to put in a raw salad.

    if your recipe specifically calls for red wine vinegar……..then its best to go with that bcoz if any vinegar would do, the recipe wouldnt say RED WINE vinegar

    I would use the apple cider vinegar, rice vinegar is a bit sweet and red wine vinegar is not.
